I'm collecting Asian Christmas & Holiday songs. Found lots of Japanese & Korean, a few Chinese, and nothing from Thailand except Thai pop stars singing English Christmas songs. There has to be something!
The China Dolls could do a GREAT Christmas song. I know they did a Happy New Year song (but I'm pretty sure that's Chinese New Year).
Any Ideas?

Anyway, I was kind of afraid of that.
I know that Thai Chistmas music is an odd request but one never knows. -

Re: Thai Christmas songs
Mon, December 6, 2004 - 2:30 PMThere is nothing like the Christmas season in Bangkok, as everywhere you look there are SALES, and blaring away in every shop, mall and hotel are Christmas songs, and as mentioned, Alvin & The Chipmunks are the most popular!!!

Sun, December 19, 2004 - 1:06 AMKhun Eileen,
I am listening to Alvin and the boys as I type this. There is no better place on the planet than Bangkok at Christmas time!!! (And the weather is perfect, as I sat at the pool for several hours this AM)

Re: Thai Christmas songs
Mon, December 20, 2004 - 8:01 AMSomeone on LiveJournal was posting Asian Chistmas songs and indeed Alvin & the Chipmunks was included.
I do believe the China Dolls could easily compete in this arena. Ren & Stimpy gave it a go but even songs like "We Wish you a Hairy Chestwig" do not live up to the originality of David Seville. -

Why not come over here to Bangkok, where you can hear Alvin and the lads many, many times a day everywhere that you go. -

Tue, December 21, 2004 - 8:25 AMYou know I don't remember XMAS music in Thailand. I remembered Thai New Year's music instead.
