Just got into Chang Mai today and don't have any plans as of yet. Might check out Pai and possibly the Elephant Nature Sancturary, but other than that just planning on diggin in for a few days unless I get stuck a little longer. But I'm traveling alone and would love to get together with other travelers or ex-pats to check this place out together or to learn about it more deeply from you. And just to have some company.

i hope thailand is treating you well. chiang mai-area rainbow family is thinking about a small regional gathering...there was just a post in the yahoo group about meeting...if you're interested, connect in~you could possibly go with some folks scouting land, whether or not you'll still be around when the gathering happens. many folks have been there a while, especially since the world gathering was in thailand last winter. so, if you're interested, check out the yahoo group~p.m. me if you need the link. likewise, try posting on the rainbow family tribes, as often people are mucking about in various places and happy to meet up.

Thailand is pretty great. Just got in from a 3 day trek up here in Chang Mai. I'll probably head to Pai soon and imagine the rainbow fam. swings through there as well. I'll probably hit you up for the link. -
