Re: Long stay/serviced apartments in Chiang Mai?
Mon, April 21, 2008 - 12:50 PMare you studying? many of the massage schools have connections to long-term rentals in assisting their students with housing, and they have nice places~some stand-alone apartments, some communal living places, and some shared kitchen communities...if you're not going with a program, check with some in the area~you may have to wait until you're there for that, checking their message boards, but maybe online you can find something.

Re: Long stay/serviced apartments in Chiang Mai?
Mon, April 21, 2008 - 7:36 PMthere are so many apartments in chiang mai, you should have no problem... this link gives a listing that looks promising: www.chiangmai-chiangrai.com/2_ho....html
i've also seen things posted on thaivisa.com and teakdoor.com -- some of the places were actually very lovely. i found all of them by googling.
now.. if anyone knows of any kind of apartment, house or townhouse rental in chiang rai, with dsl and in town, i'd be forever indebted. there just aren't apartments there, and so few farang that there just doesn't seem to be a market. i'll be there in 3 weeks for more than a month, and have a feeling that i'll be living in a guesthouse if something doesn't come through. -

Mon, April 21, 2008 - 7:39 PMoh, and check this out.... for my tastes, this set a new goal for the kind of place i *really* want to have in thailand... gorgeous old lanna house, with rooms to rent. i don't even know how i got to that flickr page, and it's old, but it might be worth emailing the guy.
