I want to buy a mini-laptop (netbook) in Bangkok as I hear the prices are good (I live in Delhi, where anything remotely luxury is taxed exorbitantly). Are there any IT-superstores or IT areas that you recommend?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: buying electronics in Bangkok
Sat, February 7, 2009 - 6:43 PMThere are IT stores in Bangkok and of course there is Pon Tip plaza, which I think does have a IT store. FYI. I have never found the prices for computers were cheaper in Thailand then the US and especially the Internet, but perhaps better than India. I have always heard the very best prices are in Malasia. -

Wed, February 18, 2009 - 5:29 PMPantip Plaza is the best place in BKK, U might even be able to get a bargain demonstrator model, in smaller shops you can bargain the price about 20% down. Try to to take a computer savvy person with you
