Money Exchange - traveler's checks VS cash

    It's hard to say from this page on Siam Commercial Bank's website what they give or Traveler's Checks vs. cash...

    "Notes" is obviously for cash (but not sure if it inlcudes travelers checks or those are lumped with D/D & T/T). Anyway is useful to see that if you're exchanging cash, there is a slight advantage to exhanging bigger bills, which is what I prefer.. You usually end up paying something to purchase the travellers checks and if you use ATMs, your bank will hit you with a foreign exchange processing fee. So, cash is simple if you're comfortable with that & know how to keep it safe.
